If you want to be part of a team defining how AI transforms high-stakes knowledge work, this is the place to do it.\nAbout the role:\nWe are looking for a platform engineer / developer experience engineer to improve the systems that help our engineering team move quickly and safely.\nThis is a hands-on role spanning build systems, CI, testing infrastructure, dependency and vulnerability management, and internal developer tooling. The engineer will combine operational ownership with deeper system improvement: keeping critical processes reliable while identifying and removing recurring sources of friction.\nThe ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, excellent debugging instincts, and a genuine interest in building tools and workflows for other engineers. They understand that an internal platform is a product: solutions must be reliable, ergonomic, well documented, and easy to adopt.\nCandidates do not need prior ownership of every area in the role. We value broad engineering judgment, curiosity, and demonstrated interest in improving developer productivity over narrow specialization.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nOwning and maintaining build systems, CI pipelines, testing infrastructure and internal tooling to keep engineering workflows reliable and efficient\n\nHelping and enabling other engineers by identifying recurring sources of friction and designing and implementing solutions to remove them\n\nVulnerability and dependency management\n\nReviewing code and contributing to a high standard of code quality and maintainability\n\nYou're a great fit if you:\nHave 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or Developer Experience Engineer\n\nAre proficient in at least two of the following: build systems, continuous integration, testing, observability, dependency and vulnerability management, release workflows or internal tooling\n\nAre comfortable working with Python tooling and packaging, including dependency management and the broader Python developer ecosystem\n\nHave a genuine interest in building tools and processes that help other engineers move faster\n\nHave strong software engineering fundamentals and excellent debugging instincts\n\nBring broad engineering judgment and curiosity\n\n(Nice to have) Experience with tooling, packaging, and dependency management in JavaScript, Rust, Go or other language ecosystems\n\n(Nice to have) Experience working with Kubernetes, including deploying services and debugging running workloads\n\nWhat you can look forward to:\nLocation: Office 5min walking distance from Zurich central station, where we primarily work on site\n\nCollaborative and supportive work environment\n\nPotential for professional growth and advancement within the company\n\nOwnership and ability to impact the company, product, and culture\nAt DeepJudge, we believe great teams are built on diverse perspectives and experiences.
