Join us in this groundbreaking journey to achieve net-zero.\nJob Overview: We are looking for a Software Engineer to be the hands-on owner of our Direct Air Capture (DAC) platform's user experience. You will use React/TypeScript and strong product intuition to design and deliver high-quality web applications for internal operations, compliance reporting, and critical external-facing dashboards used by carbon credit customers and the public.\nKey Responsibilities\n Front-End Development & Product Design\nDesign, develop, and maintain responsive web-based User Interfaces (UIs) and dashboards using React and TypeScript to visualize real-time sensor data, manage workflows, and facilitate data-driven control decisions.\nApply a strong sense of design and product intuition to translate complex data and system status into intuitive, high-quality user experiences (UI/UX).\nSystem Integration & APIs\nDevelop and implement APIs (e.g., REST) that connect the front-end control interfaces and data dashboards with the backend systems.\nIntegrate test system software with the backend platform, ensuring effective communication for triggering tests and displaying results.\n Infrastructure & Data Awareness (Collaboration/Context)\nCollaborate with the infrastructure team on the CI/CD pipeline to automate the deployment of front-end applications.\nContribute to the design of systems that read, manage, and efficiently serve large datasets from sensors to the front-end for visualization and analysis.\nData Collection & Management:\nWrite software to manage and read data from sensors on prototype units, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection for analysis.\n Collaboration & Ownership:\nCollaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between software interfaces and physical system requirements.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for full-stack software development.\nDemonstrate extreme ownership of product outcomes, from UI usability to data accuracy.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer, electrical, robotics, aerospace engineering or computer science, mathematics, physics or other related STEM discipline.\n3+ years of professional experience with modern front-end development, specifically React and TypeScript.\nStrong proficiency in designing and implementing APIs (REST) for system control and data access.\nExperience writing software for managing or reading time series data (e.g., in an industrial or testing environment) and automating workflows.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nA strong portfolio or demonstrated history of building user-centric technical applications that optimize complex data visualization or control workflows.\nExcellent understanding of UI/UX principles and a drive to own the design and usability of technical products.\nModern backend data storage, processing techniques, and data pipeline architecture.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and software deployment concepts.\nAdditional Requirements\nWilling to work extended hours and weekends as necessary\nSome travel
