RIGHT NOW.\n John Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled & veterans. \n\n Primary Location: United States (US) - Georgia - McDonough, GA\nFunction: Factory Engineering (CA)\nTitle: Industrial Engineer - 124543\nOnsite/Remote: Onsite Position\n\nYour Responsibilities\nAs an Industrial Engineer for John Deere Parts Distribution Center located in McDonough, GA, you will:\nPerform analysis of medium to large datasets to identify facility optimization opportunities, support decision-making, and prioritize project execution. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct detailed analyses supporting facility optimization, network design, and capacity planning initiatives. \nLead and execute projects involving warehouse layout design and storage solutions that align with operational requirements and business objectives. \nPartner with vendors and suppliers (racking, material handling equipment, labor, etc.) to develop solutions, obtain quotations, navigate procurement processes, and ensure successful project implementation. \nSupport and execute initiatives that improve key warehouse performance metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. \nProvide engineering support for warehouse automation systems, equipment, and processes to drive reliable and efficient operations. \nVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position\nWhat Skills You Need\n2 or more years of project management experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment. \n2 or more years of experience analyzing medium to large datasets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions and tools. \n2 or more years of experience creating and modifying 2D facility layouts and designs using AutoCAD. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills with experience leading cross-functional teams, including frontline and shop floor employees, to solve complex business challenges.\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\n2 or more years of experience identifying and implementing process improvements that drive measurable business results in safety, quality, productivity, and warehouse storage optimization. \n2 or more years of experience working with warehouse management or warehouse control systems (SAP or equivalent platforms). \n1 or more years of programming experience using SQL, Python, R, Java, or similar languages to analyze data and solve business challenges. \n1 or more years of experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools. \n1 or more years of experience supporting warehouse automation technologies (e.g., carton erectors, touchless packout systems), industrial equipment, mechanical design, or facility infrastructure. \nExperience developing and presenting business cases, project justifications, and capital expenditure proposals to support investment decisions. \nEducation\nIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines), Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a similar technical field.\n\nWhat You'll Get\nAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
