RIGHT NOW.\nDue to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:\nStaff Software Engineer- Python+React\nPoznań, Poland\nYour responsibilities:\nServe as a technical leader for the Global Payroll engineering team, shaping architecture, engineering standards, code reviews and delivery approaches for scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.\nPartner with product managers, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex business needs into outcome-driven technical solutions, delivery plans, and measurable engineering priorities.\nLead integration and software development activities around ADP Global View and SuccessFactors.\nParticipate in discussions with the Scrum teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements related to HR/Payroll using SAP HCM technology.\nLead and guide our business partners in finding and implementing the E2E integration setup between SuccessFactors and ADP Global View Payroll.\nLead design discussions regarding applications, APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems, balancing reliability, security, performance, cost, and long-term maintainability.\nWork effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions.\nRaise engineering quality through hands-on technical coaching, code reviews, pairing, testing strategy, reusable patterns, and modern software development practices.\nAdvance DevOps and platform engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, secure deployment patterns, and reliable production operations.\nMonitor, identify, and correct the most-complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.\nUse modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development capabilities where appropriate, to improve developer productivity, accelerate problem solving, and strengthen software quality while applying sound engineering judgment. \nOur requirements:\n7 or more years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting complex production applications.\nStrong proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used for enterprise software development, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar.\nDemonstrated experience with software architecture and system design, including APIs, event-driven or integration patterns, distributed systems, data modeling, scalability, resiliency, and maintainability.\nExperience building and operating solutions using services from AWS.\nExperience with DevOps and platform engineering practices, including Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization, infrastructure as code, and environment automation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar.\nWorking knowledge of secure software development practices, including identity and access management, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, dependency management, and security controls built into delivery pipelines.\nExperience improving production reliability through monitoring, logging, tracing, observability, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.\nAbility to provide staff-level technical leadership across teams by influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, reducing technical debt, and making pragmatic tradeoffs across speed, quality, security, and sustainability.\nGood understanding in HR/LR, Time- and Payroll processes.\nExperience with identifying reporting needs / setting up Databricks / EDL.\nVery strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in English.\nOpenness to work with global Product teams.\nExperience with solution implementations incorporating AI Tech Stack. \nNice to have:\nWorking knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors global platform.\nProven experience with building reusable and scalable platform capabilities.\nExperience modernizing legacy applications, reducing technical debt, improving maintainability, and evolving applications toward cloud-native or modular architectures.\nHands on experience with AI agents or A2A frameworks.\nExperience applying AI-assisted engineering tools, coding assistants, or agent-based automation responsibly to improve delivery speed, code quality, documentation, testing, or developer workflows.\nStrong coaching mindset with a demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction without formal authority, and build alignment across product, architecture, security, and operations partners.\nExperience collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions.\nExperience configuring and implementing system execution/quality monitoring tools.\nProven experience in adapting to the change management principles like Lean Service management.\nContinuous learning mindset with curiosity about emerging software engineering practices, AI-enabled development, secure delivery, cloud services, and developer productivity improvements.\nBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer
