They will get exposure to several different parts of the business - namely Sales & Marketing, Customer Support and Training.\nTo join us in July 2027, we are seeking people for a Turf/Precision Guidance internship which will likely include the following responsibilities:\nWorking with the Turf Training Manager for Europe \nOrganisation and development of training material for professional turf dealers\nSupport turf machinery shows and training events \nData validation for precision guided machinery in conjunction with an educational establishment or external business - working with high profile golf courses, Premier League football clubs, and fine sports turf across Europe\nWorking as part of the team you will be happy to roll up your sleeves to help with set up at training events across Europe and will get to enjoy the fruits of your labour by attending these events\nPreparation of facilities, machinery, material, and schedules for training events.\nProcessing spreadsheets\nCompetent with Microsoft packages, especially PowerPoint and Excel\nData analysis\nThis position would suit a general business student or one specialising in sports, an interest in golf would be beneficial but not a necessity\nAs well as the fantastic experience gained you will get the opportunity to:\nAttend training courses and learn more about the industry leading John Deere products \nSpend time with Turf Territory Managers, visiting customers and dealers, seeing demos, getting a sense of what this role entails to broaden your knowledge and understanding \nBe part of a fun, vibrant team based in Nottingham at the Sales & Marketing Branch\nSupporting and developing presentations to customers and dealers and other audiences about the John Deere brand and products.\nYou could also get the opportunity to work on projects with the other teams within the business. This is the perfect way to look at all angles of the business.\nWhat we expect from you:\nPositive approach, can do attitude, willingness to get stuck in and give things a try, comfortable with working on your own initiative although rest assured there’ll be plenty of support to help you succeed.\nWillingness to travel within the UK and abroad.
