Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nComply with all internal processes and policies and all environmental and safety protocols\nContribute input to customer audits\nConduct tier-internal assessments and internal audits\nIssue Material Complaint Notices MCN’s to supply base\nEnsure containment of suspect and non-conforming product\nWork with research and development through problem solving activities\nVerify effective corrective action and replication\nDevelop internal processes\nNew product launches\nPlan, execute and submit PPAP packages to customers for approval, monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency\nAnalyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff\nCreate and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures\nTrack defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data\nIdentify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points\nIdentify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions\nInstruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures\nInstruct vendors and contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies\nMonitor development of new products to help identify possible problems for mass production\nParticipate in the development of product specifications\nProduce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production, root cause analysis, or quality trends\nReview and update standard operating procedures and quality assurance manuals\nCollect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality\nCoordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment such as inspection gauges\nEvaluate new testing and sampling methodologies or technologies to determine usefulness\nReview statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay current on issues in the field of quality control\nStop production if serious product defects are present\nAbility to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers\nMaintain and support the environmental policy with deployment, governance of the policy and processes, evaluation and taking action for process improvement\n\nSKILLS & ABILITIES \nStrong analytical skills \nCustomer/Client focused \nAbility to use critical thinking to solve a problem while dealing with many other issues simultaneously \nStrong team building, decision making, and people management skills \nKnowledge of Advance Product Quality Planning APQP and participation\nKnowledge of Production Part Approval Process PPAP\nKnowledge of ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001\nAdequate knowledge of business and management principles, budgeting, resources allocation, and human resources \nAbility to supervise multiple subordinates while still participating in the day to day operations \n\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field preferred\nExperience: Three to seven years related quality experience preferred\nComputer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy; Proficient using Microsoft Office and Minitab, Solid Works, Auto CAD, PCDimus or CMM related programming; Ability to utilize vendor and customer software programs\nCertificates & Licenses: Must be eligible to obtain a Passport;
