Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions. \n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nSet up spare parts lists to be included in tooling quotations and manuals\nReview spare parts requirements for servicing in conjunction with engineering department including coding of spare parts\nReview blueprints for correct spare parts identification prior to issuance\nCoordinate parts orders and assist in the identification of parts\nProvide leadership, supervise, coordinate, and review the work of assigned staff\nOversee employees in performance of work and provide guidance in the resolution of routine problems\nApply organizational policies and ensure adherence to departmental procedures\nEvaluate and recommend changes in methods and procedures in assigned area of responsibility\nInterview and recommend candidates for employment\nProvide performance feedback on team members\nAct as liaison with other departments, units, or organizations\nPerform quoting work\nPerform tool engineering\nAbility to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers\nSupport the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings\n SKILLS & ABILITIES\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions \nAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables \n\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\n\nEducation: Associate’s Degree in Tool & Die preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage \nExperience: Five to seven years of Tool & Die Engineer experience; At least two years of experience as a supervisor preferred\nComputer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy;
