This includes distribution deals, where partners such as telcos or digital platforms offer Deezer to their customers, as well as custom music solutions tailored for businesses (from white-label apps to modular features or point-of-sale background music services), whether they’re monetized or ad-supported.\nWe are looking for a motivated Commercial Strategy & Performance Analyst intern in the Business Operations team to support our Global Commercial team. Your role will involve leveraging data for strategic planning and performance monitoring, supporting decision-making processes, and enhancing data quality across our partnership portfolio (both new and existing deals over all countries).\nIf you are seeking an opportunity that will allow you to significantly impact our business, you’re in the right place.\nThis is a 6-month internship starting in January 2027, based in Paris (gap year or end-of-study internships).\nWhat You Will Do\nDeal sizing (for new and existing partnerships): Conduct business analysis and modelling (Business Plan) to forecast deal potential over the years, ensuring accuracy and consistency.\n\nMonitoring Performance: Track and assess the performance of existing partnerships (incl. Budget and reforecast exercises along with the FP&A team), identifying areas for improvement and optimization.\n\nAnalytics & Insights: Analyze business performance across sales and account management, identify key trends and growth levers that reflect both market realities and our strategic ambitions.\n\nCommunicate Financials: Translate complex BP into actionable insights and present these findings to stakeholders through compelling visualisations and reports.\n\nCollaborative Business Intelligence: Work closely on a weekly basis with cross-functional teams (such as Labels, Finance, Pricing and Data Analytics teams) to improve KPI acumen and ensure alignment with business objectives.\n\nSupport Decision Making: Provide analytical support for strategic decisions, including preparation for board meetings and C-level strategic analysis, helping to align partnership strategies with broader company goals.\n\nQualifications\nThis role is excellent for a person with:\nMaster’s student in Business, or a related field.\n\nStrong analytical mindset with experience in financial/business modelling.\n\nProficiency in data analysis tools (Excel) and the ability to learn new tools quickly.\n\nExcellent communication skills in French & English, both verbal & written.\n\nDetail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines.\n\nAbility to work autonomously and balance short- and long-term projects simultaneously.\n\nComfortable working cross-functionally and building relationships with multiple stakeholders.\n\nExcitement to work within a music-oriented environment is a big plus!\n\nAt Deezer, diversity drives innovation.
