Negotiates terms of repayment and processes transactions.\nPerforms priority administrative tasks necessary to the daily operation of the department.\nReceives and responds to email and telephone requests for support from other Credit Union employees outside of the Collections Department.\nPerforms skip tracing efforts to locate new contact information for members.\nPerforms other duties as assigned, including support for other departments or other administrative functions outside of the normal scope of Collections.\nExperience:\nMinimum 2 years experience in a collections, account recovery, or delinquency management environment. Required\nExperience performing advanced collection activities within a financial institution, including managing delinquent accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and resolving complex member account issues. Preferred\nExperience working with bankruptcies, repossessions, loss mitigation, and other recovery strategies. Preferred\nKnowledge of collection laws, regulatory requirements, legal processes, and court-related collection activities. Preferred\nExperience conducting skip tracing, asset location, and account investigation activities.
