This includes testing enhancements, integrations, RPA/automation workflows, and other application changes to ensure they meet documented requirements, business expectations, and regulatory standards. The IT QA Analyst serves as a key liaison between developers, Business Analysts, and business units for testing activities, including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and beta testing. This role helps ensure that all development work remains within approved scope, functions as intended and supports a secure and stable member and employee experience.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nReview business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation to understand scope and define appropriate test strategies and test plans.\nDesign, develop, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across applications, integrations, and automations.\nExecute manual and, where applicable, automated tests to validate that solutions function as intended, meet requirements, and do not introduce regression issues.\nCollaborate closely with developers to clarify requirements, understand technical designs, and identify potential risk areas early in the development lifecycle.\nWork with Business Analysts to confirm that development deliverables accurately reflect the agreed scope, acceptance criteria, and business objectives.\nCoordinate and facilitate UAT and beta testing with business units, including test planning, scheduling, communication, and support for end users during the testing period.\nDocument and track defects, issues, and enhancement requests; work with developers and BAs to prioritize, retest, and verify resolution.\nValidate that fixes and changes are properly implemented and do not adversely affect related systems, processes, or integrations.\nContribute to and maintain QA standards, templates, and best practices, including consistent documentation of test results and sign-offs for audit and compliance purposes.\nAssist in maintaining test environments and ensuring test data is accurate, secure, and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements.\nProvide clear, concise status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project teams and leadership.\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.\nExperience:\nMinimum 3 years experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role. Required\nExperience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, core systems, integrations, and/or automation solutions. Required\nFamiliarity with SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience working closely with developers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders. Required\nExposure to testing of integrations, APIs, or data flows between multiple systems; experience testing RPA or low-code automations. Preferred\nUnderstanding of documentation, traceability, and evidence requirements in regulated environments (e.g., NCUA, FFIEC, GLBA). Preferred\nExperience in financial services or credit unions. Preferred\nEducation:\nBachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field OR equivalent experience. Required\nQA-related certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or Agile/Scrum certifications.
