You’ll join an established delivery team doing meaningful work for global clients, with a clear path to grow as Definian grows.\nJob Title : Senior Data Migration Developer - Workday\nPosition Type : Full time\nLocation : Hyderabad Office (Onsite) \nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nTaking direct ownership of mission critical data requirements in a fast paced, collaborative work environment\nDelivering technology solutions to clients across industries, such as Manufacturing & Distribution, Education & Government, Consumer & Industrial Products, and Life Sciences & Healthcare\nWorking with clients to understand their current data landscape and advising on the strategy to align with their future-state data landscape\nDesigning and developing custom solutions for clients using a variety of software and programming tools, including Definian’s proprietary software product (Applaud), Workday, SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and VBA\nUsing quantitative methods to derive actionable insights, patterns, and outcomes from data\nLearning leading enterprise software products such as Oracle, SAP, and Workday\nBecoming a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remaining up-to-date on industry news\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team:\nMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in Workday Data Migrations required.\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.\nExperience loading data to Workday using standard tools such as EIB and Customer Central.\nDeep, hands-on expertise in Workday data migrations across the full conversion lifecycle - extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, and reconciliation.\n Strong SQL proficiency including complex queries for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation.\nDevelop and maintain conversion mapping documents, data templates, and transformation logic aligned to client and project requirements.\nParticipate in requirement gathering sessions, planning tasks and estimated delivery dates (project planning), and escalation management.\nDesigning and developing custom solutions using multiple programming tools including SQL, Excel, VBA, and PowerShell.\nAbility to collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives.\nExecute data quality checks and reconciliation activities to ensure loaded data meets validation criteria prior to go-live.\nSupport cutover execution including mock migration runs and final data loads, escalating blockers to the Data Migration Manager as needed.\nEnsure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.\nDocument data conversion methodologies, error logs, and reconciliation outcomes for reference and knowledge sharing.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including legacy IT experts, business SMEs, and Workday functional consultants to address data-related challenges.\nStrong analytical mindset and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nFounded in 1985 as Premier International and rebranded in 2025, Definian combines four decades of trusted results with the energy of an AI-enabled future.
