In this role you will work alongside a group of passionate engineers to create innovative solutions that truly make a difference.\nDEKA offers Co-Ops for full time students* (must be at least 18 years of age). This position is for a 6+ month rotation for the Spring semester starting in January and ending in June/ July 2027.\nHow you will make an impact as an Electrical Engineer Co-Op:\nSupport development of new products and new product concepts\nPerform characterization of electrical circuits and document performance\nAssist in failure analysis\nPerform verification and validation activities using test equipment and test fixtures\nTroubleshoot electromechanical prototypes\nOperate software on embedded systems\nUse electrical CAD tools for schematic and layout including Altium\nUse electrical engineering knowledge and principles to solve problems\nSkills we are looking for in an Electrical Engineer Co-Op:\nMust be currently enrolled in an undergraduate Electrical Engineering program as a junior or senior, or in a graduate Electrical Engineering program. \nDemonstrated hands-on experience through technical academic or personal projects is required. Med Device related experience is a plus. \nKnowledge of analog circuits (signal and low-power)\nKnowledge of digital electronics\nMust have exposure to electrical CAD tools (schematic and layout)\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills\nMust be a self-starter eager to contribute in a team environment\nMust be detail oriented\nAbout DEKA:\nOne hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
