Experience in automotive EV environments is highly valuable and transferable across these sectors.\nIf you enjoy combining deep technical expertise with hands-on instruction-and want to make a real-world safety impact-this is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of EV safety.\nPosition Summary\nThe EV Safety Technical Trainer (Contract) delivers instructor-led hands-on training focused on electric vehicle and high-voltage safety. This role reports to the Technical Training Manager and serves as a front-line technical ambassador for DEKRA’s EV Safety portfolio.\nYou will be responsible for facilitating engaging, technically accurate training programs for professionals working on or around EV systems-ensuring alignment with NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.\nTravel is required.\nWhat You Will Do\nDeliver EV and high-voltage safety training across industries including aviation, automotive, marine, heavy equipment, industrial fleets, and specialty vehicles.\nFacilitate in-person hands-on technical training sessions.\nEstablish credibility quickly with both technical and non-technical audiences through confident, engaging facilitation.\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EV safety, high-voltage systems, and battery operations.\nApply NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements to real-world EV safety scenarios.\nSupport course updates and continuous improvement in collaboration with DEKRA instructional designers.\nLeverage AI-enabled tools to assist with content development, technical visuals, and scenario-based learning assets.\nPrepare training materials, participant guides, and technical demonstrations as required.\nTravel to customer sites, training facilities, and industry locations as needed.\nRequired Technical Expertise\nElectric vehicle (EV) technology and high-voltage systems\nArc flash risk awareness and mitigation.\nBattery systems and related operations (lithium-ion, lead acid, and equivalent)\nElectrical safety for those working on or around energized systems.\nApplication of safety standards in industrial and operational environments\nRequired Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience delivering technical training or facilitation to adult learners.\nHands-on experience with EV systems, high-voltage technology, or electrified equipment\nNFPA 70E certification (required)\nKnowledge of OSHA regulations related to electrical and EV safety.\nStrong presentation and facilitation skills; comfortable leading technical discussions\nWillingness and ability to travel domestically (and occasionally internationally)\nProficiency with digital tools and learning technologies\nAbility to incorporate AI tools to support content creation and training delivery.\nPreferred Background\nExperience in one or more of the following industries: Aviation\nMarine\nHeavy equipment or industrial vehicles\nSpecialty or commercial electric vehicles\n\nAutomotive EV experience (helpful and transferable)\nPrior Train-the-Trainer or workforce development experience\nExperience working with manufacturers and end users.\nExposure to blended learning or technical eLearning environments","description_format":"text","description_chars":3833,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Cybersecurity","Energy & Utilities","Professional Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-27T03:39:32Z"}],"liveness":{"score":2,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.9,"p_active":0.068,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":140,"expected_fill_days":18,"reasons":["conf:70","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-09-30T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/dekra-contractor-ev-safety-technical-trainer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/dekra-contractor-ev-safety-technical-trainer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T02:45:44Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2130,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2870,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
