DEKRA is a purpose-driven organization with a deep passion to make the world a safer place on the road, at work and at home.\nDEKRA Certification Inc. is looking for an EMC Test Engineer to perform Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radio Frequency testing.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nContribute to a safe and healthy work environment by actively participating, taking responsibility, and following established procedures and policies.\nApply standard engineering principles for product evaluation and testing.\nPerform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radio Frequency (RF) testing specifically.\nReview pre-evaluation documents to understand objectives of assignment prior to start of service.\nPerform satisfactory EMC and RF testing in accordance with Regulatory Standards requirements.\nAnalyze test data and generate test data sheets.\nCreate client deliverables in the form of test reports, letter reports, and certification reports.\nCommunicate test report results effectively with customers.\nWork in the field/ On-site at client facilities as required.\nInterface directly with internal and external clients.\nConduct routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and\nAssist in development, writing, review, and validation of test methods, laboratory SOPs, and other department level operating and quality documents.\nAssist in investigation of, response to, and follow-up of client inquiries and complaints.\nCoordinate with laboratory engineers, technicians and/or assistants on sample receiving, logging, pre-treatment, preparation, testing and other tasks.\nConduct multiple projects within tight deadlines.\nOther tasks and duties may be assigned to meet project and/or business needs.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus minimum 2-year working experience in EMC industry. Master’s Degree is Preferred.\nAbility and flexibility to work on shifts as assigned.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills. Must work well as a team, and across multiple cultures.\nStrong analytical skills while handling multiple projects, delivering results on time using well developed logical problem-solving skills.\nCustomer focused\nHigh level of professionalism and the ability to work autonomously.\nPro-active attitude and excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.\nAble to read, comprehend, interpret and apply the requirements of test standards to various types of products.\nMaintain adequate knowledge of technology relating to the position.\nComputer & Math Skills. Windows-based computer programs including MS Word, Excel, and Access. Engineering level math.\nGood technical/mechanical skills/aptitude.\nPhysical Considerations:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.\nLight to moderate lifting is required.\nTravel Considerations:\nTravel domestic and/or overseas up to 25% of the time, including overnight stays.\nWhat You’ll Receive for the Value You Bring:\nCompensation:\nThe base pay for this position is $75,000 annually to $85,000 annually. This position is designated as bonus-eligible, subject to plan terms and conditions.
