You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.\nThe daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having strong attention to detail, the ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.\nWe love an entrepreneurial spirit and have found that those who take ownership of a process and/or relationship tend to be most successful. An individual needs to be self-motivated, trustworthy, and highly dependable. Because we are 100% remote, we are not there to look over team members' shoulders and must be able to rely on individuals to complete tasks assigned to them in a timely manner as well as to report their time accurately so we can analyze project profitability and areas of needed improvement.\nThis role will start as a 3-month contingent contract, with the possibility of being partnered with our clients in the United States. If selected by the client, the employee will then undergo a 6-month probationary period leading to a potential full-time position.\nThis opportunity will allow you to grow your career and gain deeper insights into the industry.\nREQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES\nClient & Communication Skills\nDesire to provide an exceptional client experience \nProfessional written and verbal communication with clients, suppliers, and team members \nClear and precise communicator \nOrganization & Problem-Solving\nAttention to detail and organization \nAbility to multi-task, solve problems, and prioritize without compromising the details or accuracy of work \nAbility to adapt to different situations \nAbility to remain calm in stressful situations \nProfessional Qualities\nProfessional who is accountable, reliable, and maintains a positive attitude \nTechnical Skills & Education\nExpert in QuickBooks \nProficient in the Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) \nStrong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new applications \nPost-secondary degree or certificate related to accounting \nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nAccounts Payable\nEnter all invoices accurately into the Syncore system and/or QuickBooks \nPrepare weekly check runs based on current cash flow \nAccounts Receivable\nInvoice all clients promptly upon order completion \nMake routine collection contacts to follow up on outstanding balances \nIssue past-due notices and client statements \nProcess royalty entries and submissions \nEnsure efficient and accurate posting of transactions \nFinancial Reporting & General Duties\nAssist with the preparation of year-end financial statements \nPerform any other tasks assigned by the Executive Team \nWHAT WE LOOK FOR\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. \nExperience: 3+ years of proven accounting experience. \nLanguage Proficiency: Very proficient spoken and written English communication skills. \n Working Schedule: Ability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (USA), Monday through Friday. \n Technical Skills: Proficient with the Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Google suite (Google Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
