Your proactive mindset, adaptability, and excellent communication skills make you a key contributor to successful billing execution.\nResponsibilities:\nComplete billing uploads in EHR systems based on exported reporting \nCross-reference member lists through EHR systems and payor portals to complete eligibility assessments \nMaintain a high level of data integrity through meticulous notetaking and error-free data entry across multiple systems and platforms\nDifferentiate value-based and fee-for-service claims based on context of payor agreements\nPrepare reporting for billing and operations teams on an as-needed basis\nReview provider documentation to ensure coding accuracy\nQualifications: \n2-5 years of experience minimum in medical billing, including at least one year experience in Medicaid billing\nProficiency with \nA variety of EHR systems (e.g. Tebra, athenaOne, eCW)\nMicrosoft Office and Adobe tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Acrobat)\nGoogle Suite (e.g. Sheets, Docs)\nProactivity in assessing missing data from payor portals and ability to bridge data gaps\nHigh level of integrity and attention to detail; adaptability to learning various state guidelines\nDesire to work collaboratively with medical, tech, and operations teams\nOpenness to, and willingness to provide, constructive feedback to improve operational processes\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with Texas-specific payors and billing guidelines\nExperience working with healthcare technology organizations\nExperience working with value-based care contracts\nExperience in maternal, nutritional, and/or behavioral health fields\nWe value that everyone at Delfina brings a unique background and perspective.
