spanning business needs, technical upgrades, IT security initiatives, system maintenance, and bug fixes - by effectively coordinating stakeholders, resources, timelines, budgets, and risks.\nExpected Outcomes\nFirst 3 Months\nGet up to speed on DelfinGroup's core IT products, systems, their interdependencies, and the development process\n\nTake over management of active IT projects: organize the backlog, project plans, priorities, and resource needs\n\nEstablish regular status reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies\n\nIndependently run sprint planning\n\nWithin 6 Months\nIndependently manage several projects in parallel\n\nWork closely with the business, IT Product Owners, Architects, System Analysts, Development, QA, and external vendors\n\nImplement a consistent approach to project planning, progress tracking, and status reporting\n\nIdentify weak points in existing processes and introduce practical improvements to project management, sprint planning, resource coordination, and information flow\n\nWithin 12 Months\nFully independently manage the project portfolio with predictable delivery\n\nProactively identify risks early and report clearly to management and stakeholders\n\nOperate a project management process that is structured, transparent, and data-driven\n\nActively contribute to improving project management and software development practices, raising delivery quality, planning accuracy, and IT-business collaboration\n\nExperience & Technical Skills\nAt least 3 years managing IT or software development projects, with a demonstrable track record - specific projects, their scope, budget, timelines, and actual results vs. plan\n\nExperience managing several parallel projects that share the same development resources\n\nExperience working with external vendors - contracts, work acceptance, resolving delays\n\nExperience in a regulated industry (financial services, insurance, telecom) is an advantage, where some deadlines are driven by regulatory requirements\n\nWorking knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and MS Office\n\nActive, effective use of AI and automation tools in daily work - project planning, information gathering, documentation, status reporting, and streamlining other routine processes; able to speak concretely about tools used, tasks applied to, and measurable results achieved\n\nPMP / PRINCE2 / PSM certification is a plus but not required - a proven project portfolio matters more\n\nLatvian at a high level (business communication and documentation); English at a professional level (technical documentation, vendors)\n\nWhat You Will Work On\nManaging a portfolio of IT projects in parallel -
