We are a rapidly growing company with a huge ambition, and we're always looking for top talent to join us.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking a Dutch speaking, highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our expanding team in Belgium. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Deliveroo's growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and onboarding new restaurant and food business partners (including supermarkets, butchers, bakeries, etc.) onto the Deliveroo platform. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with potential partners and showcasing the value proposition of partnering with Deliveroo in Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent.\nResponsibilities:\nActively identify and prospect potential restaurant and food business partners within your assigned territory.\nConduct outreach (via phone, email, and in-person meetings) to introduce Deliveroo and its benefits to prospective partners.\nPresent Deliveroo's value proposition clearly and persuasively, addressing the specific needs and concerns of each business.\nManage the full sales cycle from initial contact to successful onboarding of new partners.\nBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.\nNegotiate partnership terms and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.\nCollaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Onboarding, Account Management) to ensure a smooth and successful launch for new partners.\nStay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and the local food and beverage landscape.\nMeet and exceed targets for new partner acquisition.\nMaintain accurate records of sales activities and progress within CRM systems.\nRequirements:\nNative Dutch speaker is essential.\nFluency in English is required.\nProficiency in French is a strong plus.\nProven sales experience is a significant advantage.\nA genuine passion for food and the restaurant/grocery industry.\nStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and target-driven with a strong work ethic.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nValid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.\nWhat We Offer:\nThe opportunity to work for a fast-growing and exciting global company.\nA dynamic and collaborative work environment.\nCompetitive salary and benefits package (including car allowance).\nOpportunities for professional development and growth.\nThe chance to make a real impact on Deliveroo's success in Belgium.\nDiversity, Equity and Inclusion\nAt Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do.
