You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers across Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, iOS, and Android teams to build diverse, high-quality pipelines and shape our top-of-funnel talent strategy.\nHere’s what your day-to-day might look like:\nSourcing & Pipeline Building\nProactively identify and engage top-tier engineering talent using creative sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and developer communities.\n\nCraft thoughtful, highly personalised outreach that authentically brings Deliveroo’s brand, engineering challenges, and culture to life.\n\nStakeholder Partnership\nPartner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, refine target profiles, and align on hiring priorities across engineering functions.\n\nDeliver seamless candidate handoffs to recruiters, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to interview stage.\n\nMarket Insights & Strategy\nLeverage data to track pipeline health, outreach engagement, and conversion metrics to continuously optimise sourcing strategies.\n\nMap relevant target companies and provide real-time talent market insights, mapping, and salary benchmarks to key stakeholders.\n\nDiversity, Equity & Inclusion\nDrive DE&I initiatives by proactively sourcing candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and embedding inclusive sourcing practices across all searches.\n\nWhat You’ll Need to Thrive\nEssential:\nProven experience sourcing technical talent (e.g., Backend, Frontend, Mobile) in-house or within a fast-paced tech recruitment agency.\n\nStrong research and candidate engagement skills using advanced boolean search techniques and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building collaborative partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers.\n\nProactive, data-informed approach with a clear understanding of how sourcing metrics drive talent strategy and decision-making.\n\nPassion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, with demonstrated experience embedding DE&I principles into sourcing pipelines.\n\nNice to Have:\nHands-on experience working with modern applicant tracking systems such as Ashby.\n\nFamiliarity with engineering skill sets and domain landscapes across product and tech ecosystems.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving.\nWe’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better.
