Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.\n YOUR MISSION\nYou will join Data Platform Enablement, the central team responsible for maintaining and governing Glovo's data tools, defining data governance standards and automating the processes that keep our data ecosystem trustworthy and efficient.\nThis is a role for someone technical, ambitious and independent who wants to grow by taking on increasingly complex governance, automation and support work, while getting real experience delegating to and mentoring junior team members.\nTHE JOURNEY\nHelp maintain and govern Glovo's core data tools, including Looker, defining and enforcing governance standards across the company.\n\nAutomate manual data processes by leveraging LLMs, workflow tools like n8n and Make, and API/MCP connections.\n\nContribute to monitoring GCP infrastructure usage and costs, and help define governance around cloud resources.\n\nSupport the evolution of Looker towards conversational analytics, making data more accessible to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nHelp build and improve the Data Support self-serve experience, enabling people across Glovo to resolve support questions by talking to an agent instead of opening a ticket.\n\nProactively identify and propose improvements to how data is consumed and supported across the company.\n\nWork with and delegate tasks to the team's 3 interns, distributing work, giving feedback and mentoring them as they take on more complex responsibilities.\n\nPartner closely with senior Data Engineers on the team and with stakeholders across all business areas at Glovo, gaining broad exposure to different profiles and ways of working.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE\n2-3 years of hands-on experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering or a similar technical data role.\n\nStrong SQL foundations, with the ability to independently write, debug and optimise analytical queries.\n\nWorking proficiency in Python to support data analysis, automation and workflow improvements.\n\nHands-on experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative engineering practices (pull requests, code reviews, version control).\n\nPractical experience leveraging LLMs and/or automation tools (n8n, Make, APIs) to streamline processes.\n\nAn ambitious and independent mindset, comfortable owning well-scoped tasks, while still developing towards fully independent end-to-end project ownership.\n\nEnglish proficiency: Good communication in English, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.\n\nNice to have:\nExposure to Google Cloud Platform, infrastructure/cost monitoring or governance.\n\nExposure to Looker or other modern BI tools; interest in conversational analytics.\n\nInterest in mentoring, delegating or project management, as a possible path towards people leadership.\n\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE\nIn your first months, success will mean:\nYou understand the main data assets, tools and workflows used by the team.\n\nYou can contribute to simple data transformations and documentation with guidance.\n\nYou can validate outputs and raise quality concerns when something does not look right.\n\nYou use AI-enabled tools responsibly to support your work, without blindly trusting the results.\n\nYou start connecting business problems with reliable data solutions.\n\nYou show curiosity, ownership and willingness to learn from feedback.\n\nOver time, you will grow towards owning small data products independently and contributing to AI-enabled data initiatives with increasing autonomy.\nIMPORTANT NOTE\nThis is not a pure AI Engineer role.\nThis is an Analytics Engineer I role within Data Enablement, with an expectation that the person will progressively develop AI competencies as part of the natural evolution of Analytics Engineering.\nWe believe AI will increasingly become part of how data teams work, but the foundation remains the same: trusted data, strong engineering practices, business understanding and responsible delivery.\nWE BELIEVE DRIVEN TALENT DESERVES\n Top-notch private health insurance to keep you at your peak.\n\nMonthly Glovo meal benefits so you can test new features and satisfy your cravings.\n\nDiscounts on transportation, food and even kindergarten expenses or office-based nursery.\n\nDiscounted gym memberships to keep you energized.\n\nThe freedom to work from home two days a week, and the opportunity to work from anywhere for up to three weeks a year.\n\nEnhanced parental leave, if applicable.\n\nOnline therapy and wellbeing benefits.\n\n Here at Glovo, we thrive on diversity, we believe it enhances our teams, products, and culture.
