Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.\n We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to be part of our Foundation Tribe, to support our growing regional Product team here in Singapore as part of an international team of highly talented and motivated people.\nResponsibilities:\nDiagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across software and infrastructure layers, with a focus on optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.\nContribute to the design and evolution of system architecture to address current business needs while ensuring scalability and adaptability for future technologies.\nDrive code quality by enforcing coding standards, conducting comprehensive code reviews, and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure early bug detection and software reliability.\nManage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within autonomous teams.\nWork in a cross-functional and international team to deliver a holistic solution.\nParticipate actively in architectural discussions, open reviews, and knowledge sharing with peers.\nBe an active partner for Product management in order to provide the best value for stakeholders and our customers.\nGood understanding and independent application of cloud environment, CI/CD, testing and validation\nIndependently applies design patterns and best practices in reliability management (resiliency, autoscaling, monitoring, alerting)\nMentor junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practices while modeling strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills to uplift overall team performance.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
