You will gain hands-on experience with industrial automation systems, robotics, controls, and digital manufacturing technologies while supporting both New Product Introduction (NPI) and steady-state manufacturing operations.\nYou will:\nSupport the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing systems and processes.\nAssist in the programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLC-controlled equipment.\nSupport the integration and commissioning of robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.\nDevelop and maintain software tools, scripts, and applications to improve manufacturing efficiency and data visibility.\nAssist with troubleshooting automation, controls, and communication issues across manufacturing systems.\nWork with cross-functional teams to support New Product Introduction activities and manufacturing readiness.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, automation, and operational excellence.\nEssential Requirements\nBachelor's Degree (Level 8) in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.\nUnderstanding of PLC programming, including Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley platforms.\nFamiliarity with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.\nProgramming experience in Python, C#, Java, SQL, or similar programming languages.\nUnderstanding of industrial communication protocols, including:Ethernet/IP\nModbus\nProfinet\nOPC-UA\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood troubleshooting capability and attention to detail.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within cross-functional teams.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated willingness and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and automation platforms.\nFluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.\nDesirable Requirements:\nKnowledge of SCADA and HMI systems.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.\nHere’s our story; now tell us yours\nDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
