Here’s what we are looking for with this role:\nEssential Requirements:\n9+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering innovative, high-quality designs\n\nDeep expertise in engineering design principles, including large-scale production, sheet metal, injection molding, electrical interconnects, heat extraction, and vibration control\n\nAdvanced proficiency in 3D CAD systems (CREO preferred), with the ability to create concept models, analyze production designs, and clearly communicate technical ideas\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting mechanical simulations, evaluating design trade-offs, and ensuring optimal cost, performance, and quality\n\nCollaborative mindset with experience driving design concepts forward, partnering effectively with internal teams and external development partners while thriving in both independent and team settings\n\nDesirable Requirements:\nTypically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience\n\nHands-on experience in the design and analysis of electronics enclosures, with PC, server, or similar product experience considered a strong plus. | Practical experience in machine shop operations and prototype building, demonstrating ability to translate concepts into functional models\n\nCompensation\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
