Here’s what we are looking for with this role:\nEssential Requirements\nStrong experience in embedded development of server control and management systems, with deep understanding of Linux and strong working knowledge of BIOS/BMC firmware.\nFluency in modern networking technology: 400/100Gb, Mellanox InfiniBand, Cisco Nexus, Arista, SFP+ Twinax, Fiber optics, and Dell Networking.\nDeep understanding of Dell Enterprise server and storage technology, including PowerEdge and PE-C server platforms, server BIOS and BMC/iDRAC, switches, PDUs, and serial aggregators.\nKnowledge of IPMI standards and industry-standard system management console solutions.\nKnowledge of cloud/big data software stack models and experience with provisioning and deployment of open-standard software stacks.\nThorough understanding of RedHat and Ubuntu Linux distributions and applicability of Linux-based solutions on enterprise-class dense and traditional server platforms.\nDeployment and provisioning experience with Linux and Windows OS, software stacks, and virtualization technologies such as VMware.\nDesirable Requirements\nExperience with a BSCE, BSCS, or equivalent degree.\nThorough understanding of appropriate technologies, vendor products, and competitors' offerings, along with working insight and skill to effectively manage cultural differences\nCompensation\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
