This role will be responsible for developing memory sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, forecasting demand, driving supply continuity, and optimizing cost, quality, and technology roadmaps for DRAM, HBM, NAND, and emerging memory technologies. The ideal candidate combines deep commodity expertise with product management discipline to influence executive decisions, align stakeholders, and ensure uninterrupted supply for current and future platform requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nCommodity Strategy & Roadmap\n· Develop and execute the long-term memory commodity strategy across DRAM, HBM, NAND, and next-generation memory technologies.\n· Align supplier technology roadmaps with product and infrastructure requirements.\n· Identify market trends, supply-demand dynamics, technology transitions, and competitive risks to inform sourcing decisions.\n· Drive strategic decisions related to memory architecture, supplier diversification, and capacity planning.\nSupply & Demand Planning\n· Partner with engineering, capacity planning, finance, and operations teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.\n· Translate business growth projections into memory procurement and supply strategies.\n· Monitor supply availability, inventory levels, allocation risks, and market constraints.\n· Develop mitigation plans to address shortages, end-of-life transitions, and supplier disruptions.\nSupplier Management\n· Build executive-level relationships with memory suppliers and ecosystem partners.\n· Lead business reviews, roadmap discussions, and strategic negotiations.\n· Drive supplier performance against cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and sustainability objectives.\n· Partner with sourcing and procurement teams to secure long-term supply agreements and strategic capacity reservations.\nCost Optimization\n· Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to support sourcing decisions.\n· Identify opportunities for cost reduction through technology transitions, supplier competition, and demand shaping.\n· Analyze pricing trends and market intelligence to optimize timing of purchases and commitments.\n· Present business cases and recommendations to senior leadership.\nCross-Functional Leadership\n· Serve as the primary memory commodity expert across engineering, operations, finance, and product organizations.\n· Drive alignment among stakeholders regarding capacity requirements, technology selections, and supply strategies.\n· Lead executive reviews and communicate risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.\n· Support new product introductions and platform qualification activities.\nRisk Management\n· Continuously assess geopolitical, manufacturing, and supplier risks affecting memory supply.\n· Develop contingency plans and multi-sourcing strategies.\n· Monitor market conditions and proactively identify emerging supply challenges.\n· Ensure business continuity through robust risk mitigation frameworks.\nRequired Qualifications\n· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.\n· 7+ years of experience in commodity management, supply chain planning, strategic sourcing, product management, or semiconductor industry roles.\n· 5+ years of experience focused on memory technologies, including DRAM, HBM, NAND, or related semiconductor commodities.\n· Experience managing supplier relationships and leading cross-functional initiatives.\n· Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.\n· Experience developing forecasts, business cases, and strategic sourcing recommendations.\n· Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.\n· Strong communication and executive presentation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Advanced degree (MBA, MS Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline).\n· Experience supporting AI, cloud, hyperscale infrastructure, server, or data center products.\n· Deep understanding of memory technology roadmaps, manufacturing processes, and industry supply dynamics.\n· Experience managing high-value semiconductor procurement portfolios.\n· Knowledge of capacity reservation models, supply agreements, and semiconductor market economics.\n· Familiarity with HBM supply chains supporting AI accelerators and advanced computing platforms.\n· Experience in scenario planning, risk modeling, and executive decision support.\n· Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and supply continuity
