You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and development teams to meet schedule and quality targets.\nJoin us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Principal Engineer on our Product Operations Engineering team.\nYou will\nRepresents Worldwide Operations from a product perspective and creates factory strategies and plans for Worldwide Operations based on product plans, roadmaps, and budgets\nEnsures Operations achieves Ready to Ship Release and transactions into production/sustaining\nUtilizes Program Review Process (PrP)/Phase Gate Process to transition products from definition through to the sustaining phase\nUtilizes metrics to improve new production, introduction process and product quality, at launch and throughout life of the program. Drives action plans and strategies to reduce overall manufacturing transformation cost as well as continuous improvement in PrP process, product manufacturability and flexibility, and operations cycle time and quality\nDrives quality improvements by risk assessment/mitigation eliminating sources of defects in the design, supplier, new product introduction and manufacturing processes\nPrepare and deliver operations reviews where necessary\nEssential skills:\nExhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex models and procedures.\nProvides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways.\nUnderstands the interrelationships of different disciplines\n\nDirects the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas\nUnderstands and works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors\nDetermines methods and procedures on new assignments.\nExercises judgment in selecting methods, evaluating, adapting of complex techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results\n\nWork is reviewed upon completion and is consistent with departmental objectives. Interacts daily with functional peer groups and extended team. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of information.
