With in-house supply chain training and development programs that enable our team members to build their careers with us, we’ve built an environment where our team members feel inspired, connected and can succeed every day.\nOur Global Supplier Quality Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Co-op for our Data Science program.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nThis role supports Dell’s Global Supplier Quality Engineering team by\nDeveloping data analytics tools and dashboards to monitor and improve hardware quality.\n\nIdentify data quality issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive improvements\n\nSupporting roll out of Dell Native Edge solutions\n\nUsing Node Red to develop data flows, along with JSON and Javascript.\n\nLeverage SQL to structure large real time data sets into tables and views.\n\nDevelop data visualizations using Power BI and Grafana.\n\nIt’s a great opportunity to apply technical skills in a real-world setting and contribute to impactful quality initiatives.\nRequirements\nStudent working towards a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science and/or Data Science\nStrong proficiency in engineering principles and software knowledge.\nProficiency in data analysis and report writing tools.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.\nDesirable Requirements\nKnowledge of data sets used in manufacturing environments.\nExperience with use of LLMs and Machine Learning technologies.\nUse of Confluence and JIRA platforms\nCompensation\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
