(relocation assistance available)\nYou will:\nPartner with cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative, customer-centric data center infrastructure and high-density rack solutions\n\nDesign and develop mechanical and thermal components for air and liquid-cooled systems, leveraging 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create sheet metal, plastic, die-cast, and complex assemblies\n\nDesign, develop, prototype, and evaluate new concepts for feasibility, performance, reliability, and manufacturability, utilizing engineering analysis tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) where appropriate\n\nInterpret technical specifications and supplier documentation to support design decisions and optimize thermal, mechanical, and system-level performance\n\nCollaborate with and influence technology partners, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and tooling teams to create robust designs while improving scalability, serviceability, and cost efficiency\n\n Essential Requirements\n8+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product development or equivalent skill\nExperience with air and liquid cooling technologies\nProficiency with 3D CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks for mechanical component design\nStrong understanding of finite element analysis and interpretation of technical specifications and data sheets\nExperience driving complex, fast-paced product development programs\nDesirable\nAdvanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field\nExperience designing high-density data center infrastructure, including information technology rack solutions for enterprise environments\nCompensation\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
