Here’s what we are looking for with this role:\nEssential Requirements\n10-14 years of database administration and platform engineering experience\n6-10+ years of production PostgreSQL at scale - partitioning, logical replication, connection pooling (PgBouncer), pgBackRest, WAL tuning\n3+ years of Kubernetes for stateful workloads - operators, persistent storage design, backup/restore in K8s, multi-cluster patterns\n3+ years building automation frameworks in Python, Bash, Ansible - authoring infrastructure, not just using playbooks\nProven track record of designing self-service infrastructure\nDesirable Requirements\npgVector production experience with high-dimension embedding workloads (RAG, semantic search)\nAgentic coding or LLM-augmented operations - self-healing scripts, natural-language-to-query interfaces, or autonomous remediation.
