Here’s what we are looking for with this role:\nEssential Requirements\nStrong understanding of system-level trade-offs across performance, power, thermals, acoustics, and user experience\n\nExperience triaging performance bottlenecks across hardware, firmware, OS, and application layers\n\nDeep expertise in x86 architecture and system design\n\nAbility to make data-based trade-off decisions and explain them to technical and non-technical audiences\n\nStrong communicator with a customer-first mindset; experience influencing cross-functional and senior stakeholders\n\nDesirable Requirements\nBS in Computer Engineering or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in system performance engineering\n\nExperience implementing machine-learning-based performance policies\n\nHands-on experience with control frameworks, OS scheduling, and ETW/WPA trace analysis\n\nCompensation:\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
