This individual contributor role is responsible for transforming legacy implementations into modern, scalable, AI-enabled ServiceNow solutions.\nThe successful candidate will lead technical modernization initiatives including migrating Global applications to Scoped Applications, converting Legacy Workflow to Flow Designer, adopting AI-assisted development using ServiceNow Build Agent and Now Assist for Creator, implementing modern development practices, and building enterprise-grade integrations.\nThis role is ideal for an experienced ServiceNow engineer who enjoys solving complex platform engineering challenges while leveraging the latest capabilities available on the Now Platform.\nACCOUNTABILITIES\nPlatform Modernization\nLead migration of Global Applications into Scoped Applications.\n\nRefactor legacy customizations into reusable, upgrade-safe platform components.\n\nReduce technical debt while improving maintainability and platform performance.\n\nModernize legacy implementations to align with current ServiceNow architecture and best practices.\n\nWorkflow Modernization\nAssess existing Legacy Workflow implementations and migrate them to Flow Designer.\n\nDesign reusable Flows, Subflows, Actions, and Flow Logic.\n\nReplace legacy automation patterns with modern event-driven Flow Designer solutions.\n\nEstablish reusable automation patterns for future development.\n\nAI-Assisted Development\nLeverage ServiceNow Now Assist, Build Agent and other AI-assisted development capabilities to improve engineering productivity.\n\nEvaluate, validate, and govern AI-generated workflows, applications, and code.\n\nEstablish best practices for responsible AI adoption within ServiceNow engineering.\n\nApplication Engineering\nDesign and develop enterprise applications using App Engine.\n\nConfigure Forms, Workspaces, UI Builder, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and NowExperience components.\n\nDevelop reusable scoped applications and shared platform components.\n\nCreate secure, scalable, upgrade-safe ServiceNow solutions.\n\nIntegration Engineering\nDesign and implement integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Import Sets, Transform Maps, Service Graph Connectors, and event-driven integration patterns.\n\nSupport enterprise integrations with ERP, HR, Identity, Security, DevOps, Cloud, Asset Management, and monitoring platforms.\n\nEngineering Excellence\nImplement source control, CI/CD, Automated Test Framework (ATF), and deployment best practices.\n\nPerform code reviews and technical assessments.\n\nTroubleshoot complex platform issues and optimize platform performance.\n\nProduce technical documentation and reusable engineering standards.\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including at least 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform development and architecture experience.\n\nDemonstrated experience migrating Global Applications to Scoped Applications.\n\nExperience converting Legacy Workflow to Flow Designer.\n\nStrong expertise in App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, and Workspace development.\n\nStrong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nServiceNow CSA, CAD, and relevant CIS certifications.\n\nExperience with ATF, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps integration.\n\nExperience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.\n\nExperience modernizing large enterprise ServiceNow environments.\n\nExperience driving AI-assisted development adoption.\n\nCompensation\nDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
