This position is responsible for maintaining strong and effective communication with clients, both written and verbal, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include identifying client needs problem solving, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and proactively offering solutions, insights, and recommendations to address customer challenges. The Client Account Manager is also responsible for upselling and cross-selling Delmar’s services, maintaining and retaining a dedicated book of business.\nKey Responsibilities of an Account manager:\nCustomer Relationship Management\nAct as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. \nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. \nUnderstand customer business objectives, challenges, and supply chain requirements. \nConduct regular business reviews and performance meetings. \nMonitor customer demand patterns and forecasts. \nManage exceptions, and urgent customer requests. \nCollaborate with origin offices, procurement, and customer service teams. \nAlign internal operations with customer expectations. \nFacilitate smooth execution of supply chain processes from order to delivery. \nResolution and Escalation Management\nProactively identify supply chain risks. \nResolve delivery delays, inventory shortages, transportation issues, and service disruptions. \nLead cross-functional teams to address customer concerns. \nCommunicate recovery plans and timelines. \nRevenue Growth and Business Development\nIdentify opportunities to grow existing accounts. \nSupport contract renewals and negotiations. \nPromote new products, services, and supply chain solutions. \nDevelop account growth strategies. \nForecasting and Planning\nReview customer forecasts and demand trends. \nSupport Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) processes. \nWork with customers to improve forecast accuracy and inventory optimization. \nContract and Compliance Management\nManage service-level agreements (SLAs). \nEnsure contractual obligations are met. \nMonitor compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations. \nRequirements:\nMinimum 2 years of sales or operations experience in the 3PL Freight Forwarding environment \nExperience in Ocean, Air, Ground, Brokerage or Warehousing considered an asset \nBachelor's degree considered an asset \nKnowledge of current air and ocean service offerings for transatlantic shipments to the United States and Canada will be considered an asset. \nTravel may be required \nFluency in spoken Italian is
