We work with leading clients and vendors across different landscapes. You will have the opportunity to drive the test strategy and implementation on technology implementations across Government & Public Services. Working with a range of clients will provide you with the opportunity to continue developing your senior relationships with industry leaders, and grow your leadership skills. You will also play an important role in leading our quality engineering offering within the Government & Public Service industry, building relationships internally with industry partners and guiding our industry-aligned practitioners. You’ll also take responsibility for practice development activities such as: developing new service offerings to take to market and leading on thought leadership; contributing to the management of our business.\nResponsibilities will include:\nOwning quality engineering service delivery for one or more Government & Public Services clients\nCreation of tailored test strategies and approaches for large, complex or specialised client test delivery\nPlanning and managing client test delivery, ensuring the testing meets quality, time and cost objectives\nProviding advice on testing tools and techniques and leveraging them effectively within a testing activity\nReviewing test processes and practices and coaching the team on enhancement opportunities\nManaging diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution\nSupporting our response to Large (£10m+) Public Sector Testing tenders and frameworks from PQQ/RFI stages through to RFPs and client orals. \nTaking responsibility for budgets (or portions of budgets), client deliverables and billing\nLeading industry-aligned teams internally, providing strategy, direction and support\nAct as a role mode, helping to develop and mentor junior resources\nContribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership in QE\nConnect to your skills and professional experience\nTo qualify for the role, candidates must have:\nUK Government SC Clearance (or be eligible with 5 years UK residency)\nExperience of delivering Quality Engineering & Testing Services within the UK Government & Public Services industry either directly or in a professional services firm\nExceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to bridge both technical and business stakeholders\nExperience of building and strengthening key client relationships\nExperience of functional system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and non-functional testing including performance and automation\nTest management tool expertise (such as JIRA/ADO/Zephyr/X-Ray)\nExperience of developing thought leadership materials or go to market propositions\nExcellent interpersonal skills and self-driver\nStrong leadership and management skills\nAcute attention to detail\nComfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environment\nStrong commercial awareness of how professional services firms and change/transformation programmes operate\nAdditional desirable experience includes:\nISTQB Advanced / Manager level or equivalent\nApplication of GenAI tooling within the SDLC\nAbility to design and implement test automation frameworks\nISTQB Certified Agile Tester qualification (or equivalent)\nExperience in administering a test management tool (e.g. ALM, Xray for Jira, Zephyr)\nConnect to your business - Technology and Transformation\nDistinctive thinking, deep expertise, innovation and collaborative working.
