The senior developer works closely with functional, integration and operations teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions while supporting production stability and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis role requires a willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, as required.\nPrimary Duties\nProvide day-to-day support for SAP S/4HANA development and integration activities using ABAP. \nMonitor and troubleshoot system issues, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner.\nInvestigate and resolve incident, service request, change, and problem tickets. \nDevelop custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEF) using ABAP and modern SAP development tools.\nPerform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions and implements the permanent fixes.\nImplement system enhancements, configuration changes, and updates based on client requirements.\nParticipate in client discussion to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for system improvements.\nConduct regular system health checks and performance monitoring to ensure optimal system performance.\nManage change requests, from gathering requirements to testing and deployment.\nParticipate in on-call support rotations and support monthly patching and release activities. \nAssist in cutover planning and execution.\nProvide training and support to end-users and technical teams to ensure effective use of SAP solutions.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and support activities.\nParticipate in the internal PI Planning sessions.\nAbout the team\nThis is your opportunity to work in Operate at Deloitte. And we do it with the kind of drive and passion that comes from loving what you do-and who you do it with.\nEnough about us, let’s talk about you\nYou are someone who has these skills, experience & qualifications:\nAt least 7 years of experience in ABAP development.\nKnowledge of ABAP development workbench, Dictionary, Workflows, SAP Forms, BAPI's, Enhancement Framework, RFC’s, BADI’s and ABAP OBJECTS, SO10 Text, Email flow, ABAP Proxy Framework, Change document framework, performance tuning and UI5 / FIORI.\nValid Government of Canada Security Clearance\nDeep experience with ABAP OO.\nExperience working with ALE / IDoc configuration, enhancements, user exits, error handling.\nWorking experience on module pool.\nExperience with SAP HANA/ABAP, OData and backend Fiori skills.\nUnderstanding on architecture of SAPUI5 application.\nWorking experience on CDS and AMDP.\nProven experience using analytical, logical problem solving and technological skills.\nExperience working in a global and virtual environment to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nExperience working autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.\nIt would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well:\nExperience with:HANA/ABAP\nOdata Services / Gateway\nWebservice\nABAP Proxy\nSAP Workflow\n\nUnderstanding of PO\nUnderstanding of FIORI/UI5 architecture\nUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, Java Script\nUnderstanding and experience of software development best practices\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle\nAgile framework knowledge\nTotal Rewards\nThe salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
