Deloitte

Working with the Deloitte Associate (Contractor) Programme means we can offer you the opportunity to work on a variation of industry and client related projects. Our aim is to retain the best talent and so when your project end date nears our team of Talent Community Advisors will be working with you to look at alternative projects within the firm that suit your experience should you wish to continue with Deloitte.

Role:

Working directly with the CTO and Head of Product, you will help shape how partner-sponsored ideas become trusted products that create measurable client and commercial value. You will influence investment choices, mobilise multidisciplinary teams and establish product disciplines that can scale across the business. This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced product leader who wants genuine scope to build, challenge and leave a lasting mark.

Essential Skills

  • Proven product-management experience in a complex, matrixed organisation, with meaningful accountability across discovery, delivery, launch, adoption, live operation and retirement.
  • Proven ability to balance user needs, business priorities, commercial outcomes, technical feasibility and risk or control requirements.
  • Strong product judgement and experience making evidence-based prioritisation decisions across multiple products or interdependent initiatives.
  • Experience creating and maintaining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, outcome measures and decision-ready business cases.
  • Demonstrable success leading multidisciplinary teams and working confidently with engineering, data, design, research, architecture, security, legal, finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to position arguments confidently and influence action without relying on formal authority.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with experience linking product investment and adoption to measurable value.
  • Sound knowledge of agile and lean product practices, lifecycle governance and responsible technology delivery.
  • Ability to operate independently at pace, maintain high quality under pressure and exercise judgement on when to decide, challenge, escalate or seek alignment.

Desirable

  • Experience of AI-enabled, agentic, digital or data products in a regulated or professional-services environment.
  • Understanding of SRTA, its service lines, partnership model and internal governance pathways.
  • Experience of product portfolio management, commercial modelling, adoption-led transformation or federated operating models.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI, data governance, privacy, security, model evaluation and production monitoring considerations.
  • Experience coaching product practitioners or building product-management standards and communities of practice.

As a means of managing tax, commercial and reputational risks, Deloitte prohibits the use of Associates through Personal Service Companies (‘PSCs’). All Associates must contract under PAYE arrangements through a Deloitte approved ‘Employment Company’ (aka ‘umbrella company.’)

All Associates are employed by Employment Companies and assigned to work for Deloitte (as the client). When working for Deloitte, associates are required to comply with certain Deloitte policies. The employment company is responsible for the associates' employment, pay and administrative functions.
