As a Forward Deployed Software Architect, you'll combine deep software engineering expertise, architecture skills and client-facing capabilities to design and deliver technology solutions that create measurable business impact. You will:
- Partner with clients and multidisciplinary teams to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable technology architectures;
- Lead solutions architecture by defining application architectures, integration patterns, technology choices and implementation approaches;
- Design AI - enabled solutions leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation and modern cloud architecture;
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate architectural decisions into secure, scalable and production - ready solutions;
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, engineering best practices and guidance across the software development lifecycle;
- Bridge business and technology by working closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful, production ready solutions;
- Contribute to Deloitte's technology capabilities by developing reusable architectures, accelerators and engineering best practices.

To qualify for the role you must have:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field;
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture or technical leadership roles;
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise - scale software solutions;
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, integration architectures and cloud - native solutions;
- Experience designing full - stack, distributed or enterprise application architectures;
- Strong development background with hands - on experience in modern programming languages and software engineering practices
- Experience with APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms and DevOps practices;
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions;
- Experience with AI - enabled solutions, Generative AI applications or AI - assisted software development is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
