We operate with the speed and agility of a startup within the world's largest professional services firm.\n\nQualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications\n\n Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.\n 10+ years of professional experience in software development.\n Proven experience in leading and managing an engineering team.\n Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI.\n Solid experience with React for front-end development.\n Expertise in high-level design, implementation, and performance optimization.\n Authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SSO, RBAC, least privilege), secure coding, and threat modeling.\n Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized solutions.\n Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.\n Experience building and deploying applications on GCP; working knowledge of Azure or AWS.\n Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.\n Working knowledge of quality gates and enforcing code quality standards in the delivery pipeline.\n Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.\n Strong communication and leadership skills.\n\nExperience And Leadership\n\n10+ years of end-to-end software development experience, including system design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nAt least 2 years of demonstrated people management experience leading medium to large enterprise teams within a product-based organization is mandatory.\nExperience leading full-stack engineers with strong expertise across backend services and frontend web applications.\nProven ability to independently drive end-to-end project execution, taking ownership of design, development, cross-team coordination, and delivery in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary development environment.\nExperience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with globally distributed and diverse teams.\nProven ability to collaborate with business and delivery teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions from concept through production.\nExcellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.\n\n Architecture and Full-Stack Engineering \n\nProven ability to design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance applications across user interfaces, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.\nStrong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with FastAPI are required for backend development.\nExperience with microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful services using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and Spring Boot.\nExperience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL, data modeling, and enterprise system integration patterns.\nExperience with NoSQL data stores such as DynamoDB and relational data stores such as MySQL and Oracle.\nExperience defining technical standards, conducting design reviews, evaluating technology choices, and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.\n\n Security, Cloud, and Engineering Excellence \n\nDeep knowledge of security engineering and authentication and authorization frameworks, protocols, and design patterns, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, single sign-on (SSO), role-based access control (RBAC), and least-privilege access.\nStrong understanding of application security, threat modeling, secure coding, vulnerability management, observability, and performance optimization.\nExperience working in distributed, cloud-based environments such as AWS services, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Compute Engine (GCE), and Azure.\nHands-on knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with CI/CD using Jenkins and engineering hygiene practices, including GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull request reviews, code quality, collaboration, and release readiness.\nExperience with test automation and integration testing using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Playwright.\nExperience with observability, monitoring, and tracing tools such as New Relic, Splunk, SignalFx, Kibana, and Grafana.\n\n AI-Enabled Development and Delivery \n\n, to accelerate development and learning.\nExperience delivering generative AI–based solutions or projects.\n\n Additional Skills and Project Experience \n\n Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\n Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\n Experience with database technologies (SQL).\n Understanding of Agile methodologies.\n\n Education \n\nBE/B.Tech/MS/M.Tech degree or equivalent from accredited university\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.\n\n Location \n\nBengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Mumbai/Gurgaon/Kolkata\n\n Shift Timings \n\n11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements\n\nOur purpose\n\nDeloitte's purpose is to make an impact that matters for our people, clients, and communities.
