The role combines hands-on architecture, consulting, technical leadership, and delivery ownership within Deloitte's growing Data & AI practice.\n\nWhat you bring:\n10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or modern Data Platform roles.\nProven experience designing and delivering end-to-end data platforms or Lakehouse solutions.\nStrong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, and SQL.\nStrong understanding ofLakehouse, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and modern Data Platform architectures.\nExperience designing scalable ingestion, transformation, storage, serving, and integration patterns.\nGood knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, data governance, security, and data modelling.\nExperience with at least one majorcloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.\nStrong understanding of Git, CI/CD, testing, and Infrastructure as Code.\nExperience leading, mentoring, or guiding Data Engineering teams.\nStrong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.\nConsulting mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and advise clients with confidence.\nExcellent English language skills and native Bulgarian are a delivery teams throughout implementation.\nStay hands-on through prototypes, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\nDesign solutions with scalability, reliability, security, governance, and cost efficiency in mind.\nLead Proofs of Concept and support pre-sales activities, solution scoping, and proposals.\nBuild trusted relationships with client stakeholders and help
