Delta Capita is a financial services firm that provides consulting, managed services and technology to banks, asset managers and market infrastructure providers. Its work covers client lifecycle management and KYC onboarding, post-trade processing, structured products platforms and regulatory reporting, offered as mutualised utilities that several institutions share instead of building the same capability separately. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in London, the company runs delivery centres in Wrexham, York and Kuala Lumpur, acquired the DTCC Report Hub business and hires consultants, analysts and onboarding specialists.

An exciting opportunity for a proactive and analytical professional to support Financial Crime change initiatives, business improvement projects, and management reporting activities. You'll be responsible for enhancing MI reporting, analysing business processes, delivering data-driven insights, and supporting cross-regional projects across EMEA. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management, business analysis, SQL, and advanced Excel skills who enjoys driving operational improvements and working with a diverse range of stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing business within our CLM department working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. The preferred candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a ‘hands on’ pragmatic and flexible approach as we develop this fast-growing business area.

Requirements

Role Responsibilities

  • Support bank-wide projects and Financial Crime Middle Office (FCMO) change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation, stakeholder engagement, training delivery, and procedural updates.

  • Develop, automate, maintain and enhance Management Information (MI) reporting to improve data quality, efficiency, and insight for local management teams, governance committees, and senior leadership.

  • Analyse business processes and requirements, document current and future-state processes, and support the implementation of process improvements.

  • Assist in the identification, assessment, and delivery of change initiatives impacting the Financial Crime function, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Produce, analyse and distribute management reports and data-driven insights to support decision-making and operational performance.

  • Correspond with customers as part of the Reverse KYC process and maintain accurate records and information relevant to this activity.

  • Ensure updates to procedures, controls, guidance documents, and training materials are completed as part of project and change-related activities.

  • Contribute to cross-regional coordination by documenting governance forums, supporting stakeholder engagement, and promoting consistency of processes across the EMEA region.

  • Support data analysis activities through the use of SQL and advanced Excel techniques to identify trends, monitor performance, and support business initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong project management and business analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels and from diverse backgrounds, supporting the achievement of shared objectives across project workstreams.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to improving existing processes and practices, able to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of documenting business requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate process changes, complex system issues, business requirements, and feedback effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience supporting or participating in business change, transformation, or project delivery initiatives.

  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to independently extract, join, aggregate, and analyse data from multiple sources to support reporting and business decision-making.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large and complex data sets, identify trends, and produce meaningful management information and insights.

  • Sound understanding of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, with an appreciation of associated regulatory and operational requirements.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders across business, operations, compliance, and technology functions.

However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 days and even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
