# Planning Engineer

Preparing production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels. Monitor daily production activities and ensure alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehousing, and Production teams to ensure material availability and avoid delays. Analyze material consumption and lead time to support Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Follow up on delayed jobs, identify root causes, and support resolution actions. Track and update delivery timelines, production targets, and capacity utilization. Work with design and product engineering teams to launch new lighting products into the production schedule. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning processes, reduce lead time, and improve delivery performance. Use ERP systems (SAP) to input, track, and analyze planning data. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for Planning KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, Production performance). Support senior planners in capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and scenario simulations.
