This role is responsible for ensuring Dynamics 365 effectively supports core business processes spanning sales, quote-to-order, manufacturing, supply chain, fulfillment, billing, and financial reporting. You’ll partner with business stakeholders, analysts, technical teams, and external partners to design scalable solutions, improve business processes, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable value. Your expertise will help the organization leverage standard platform functionality while minimizing unnecessary customization and maintaining long-term platform sustainability.\nA Day in the Life\nYour day may include facilitating a solution design workshop, reviewing proposed system enhancements, collaborating with Finance and Supply Chain leaders on process improvements, or mentoring analysts on D365 best practices. You’ll evaluate business requirements, develop future-state process designs, review architectural decisions, and help teams balance user needs, business value, and platform capabilities. You’ll also stay current on Microsoft’s roadmap and identify opportunities to improve operational performance through technology innovation.\nSpecific Duties\nOwn the end-to-end business and solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE).\nLead solution design efforts across sales, quote-to-order, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, fulfillment, billing, and finance processes.\nEnsure business requirements align with D365 capabilities, organizational objectives, and long-term application strategy.\nEducate stakeholders on D365 functionality and promote effective use of standard platform capabilities.\nDevelop and maintain the D365 roadmap to support business growth while minimizing unnecessary customization.\nProvide architecture leadership and oversight for enhancements, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.\nPartner with business analysts and functional analysts to translate requirements into scalable and supportable solutions.\nLead architecture governance across internal teams and external partners.\nEvaluate new Dynamics 365 capabilities and Microsoft platform investments to identify opportunities for operational improvement and business value.\nFacilitate solution design workshops and architecture reviews.\nReview and approve system changes, customizations, and integration designs.\nDefine future-state business processes and solution architectures across D365 applications.\nPartner with business teams to resolve complex process and system challenges.\nCoach and mentor analysts and project team members on solution design principles and D365 best practices.\nGuide external vendors and implementation partners to ensure alignment with architecture standards and business objectives.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for a strategic thinker who understands both business operations and enterprise technology architecture. The ideal candidate can translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions, influence stakeholders across functions, and drive technology decisions that support long-term operational success.\nPosition Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.\nMinimum of 8 years of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE) experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and finance business processes.\nExperience leading enterprise solution architecture, business process design, and application roadmap development.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and provide architectural guidance to business teams, technical teams, and external partners.\nExperience working within complex manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.\nSkills & Competencies\nDeep expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O and CE architecture, capabilities, and business processes.\nStrong understanding of quote-to-order, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, fulfillment, billing, and finance workflows.\nKnowledge of solution architecture, integrations, security, data architecture, and enterprise application design.\nExperience with Microsoft technologies including Power Platform, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365.\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and supportable technology solutions.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nProven ability to influence stakeholders and guide enterprise technology decisions.\nStrong mentoring and coaching skills.\nAbility to establish architecture standards and drive adoption of best practices across business and technology teams.\nStrategic mindset balanced with practical execution and business value
