This role plays a critical part in transformer production by assisting with assembly, material handling, and general production tasks while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Production Worker, you’ll support a variety of production activities, including core stacking, element assembly, and final assembly. You’ll assist higher-level team members, operate tools and equipment, and help ensure production schedules are met safely and efficiently.\nA Day in the Life\nYour day may include assisting with assembly operations, setting up materials, supporting crane and rigging activities, and helping load or unload equipment such as ovens or vapor phase systems. You’ll use hand and power tools, help install components, prepare materials, and contribute to overall workflow across multiple production areas.\nSpecific Duties\nAssist with loading/unloading ovens and vapor phase equipment\nSupport crane setup, rigging, and pre-operation inspections\nAssist with core stacking and assembly activities\nHelp install transformer components and insulation materials\nMix and apply epoxy as required\nSupport element assembly, including coil landing and lead installation\nCut cable, wrap insulation, and assist with lead preparation\nOperate hydraulic, hand, and power tools\nAssist with parts kitting and basic inventory control\nSupport tanking and final assembly operations\nOperate man lifts and forklifts as required\nMaintain safe, clean, and organized work areas\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA dependable team player with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.\nPosition Requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nMinimum of 2 months of manufacturing or industrial experience (or equivalent training)\nAbility to pass background check, drug test, and physical\nSkills & Competencies\nAbility to use basic hand and power tools\nBasic understanding of manufacturing or electrical concepts preferred\nAbility to follow instructions and procedures\nBasic math skills\nAbility to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs\nAbility to work at heights and in confined spaces\nComfortable working in varying environmental conditions\nStrong teamwork and communication
