You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The role involves working closely with product and front-end teams to deliver reliable APIs and services, with exposure to cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern development practices.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using Node.js.\n\n- Build and maintain scalable, low-latency RESTful APIs.\n\n- Design systems for high availability, performance, and reliability.\n\n- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.\n\n- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.\n\n- Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\n\n- Integrate with third-party services and APIs (e.g., messaging, email, payments).\n\n- Collaborate with product, front-end, and QA teams to understand and deliver requirements.\n\n- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation.\n\n- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.\n\n- Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Docker.\n\n- Collaborate with platform/DevOps teams on cloud deployments and Kubernetes-based systems.\n\n- Implement and work with message queues and streaming systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, or Azure Service Bus.\n\n- Support real-time features using Web-Sockets or event-driven architectures.\n\nQualifications & Skills : \n\n- 5 - 7 years of backend development experience, with strong recent experience in Node.js.\n\n- Deep understanding of Node.js core concepts, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js (or similar).\n\n- Strong experience in API design, microservices, and inter-service communication.\n\n- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling.\n\n- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).\n\n- Familiarity with security best practices, including encryption at rest and in transit, and OWASP guidelines.\n\n- Experience profiling and optimizing backend services and database queries.\n\n- Hands-on testing experience using Jest or Mocha/Chai.\n\n- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.\n\n- Experience with real-time systems and messaging/event-driven architectures.\n\n- Familiarity with blockchain-based systems or crypto platforms is a plus.\n\n- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\n\nEducation : \n\n- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nPreferred Experience : \n\n- Experience in FinTech, Banking, or Payments, especially high-scale or regulated systems.\n\n- Exposure to blockchain
