Responsibilities : \n\n- Act as a Functional Subject Matter Expert for SAP PP-PI and IS-Oil.\n\n- Provide functional expertise across SAP Production Planning & Control for Process Industries, with a strong focus on production execution.\n\n- Support SAP IS-Oil / Oil & Gas Downstream processes, including silo and tank management.\n\n- Analyze and refine business processes in line with business requirements and SAP capabilities.\n\n- Validate requirements, workflows, and functional solutions with business and IT stakeholders.\n\n- Ensure functional correctness and alignment with expected system behavior.\n\n- Lead the resolution of complex functional issues and provide solutions applicable across multiple teams.\n\n- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across international locations.\n\n- Guide team members by sharing functional expertise and best practices.\n\n- Support application management activities, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n- Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, business processes, and user experience.\n\n- Contribute to functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer sessions.\n\n- Participate in key functional decisions and take ownership of team-level outcomes.\n\n- Ensure seamless integration and delivery of SAP solutions across relevant business functions.\n\nRequired Candidate Profile : \n\n- 10+ years of experience in SAP PP-PI / Production Planning & Control for Process Industries.\n\n- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PP-PI, particularly production execution.\n\n- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP IS-Oil.\n\n- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas Downstream processes.\n\n- Experience with silo and tank management is highly preferred.\n\n- Strong business process analysis and functional solutioning skills.\n\n- Experience in SAP Application Management Support or similar SAP support environments.\n\n- Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\n- Ability to work as a Functional SME and guide team members on complex functional challenges.\n\n- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\n- Experience working with international / European business and IT teams.\n\n- Willingness to work in the US time zone.\n\nPreferred Background : \n\n- Experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Process Manufacturing industry.\n\n- Strong exposure to SAP IS-Oil Downstream processes.\n\n- Experience with production execution and silo/tank management.\n\n- Experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and knowledge transfer.\n\n- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with globally distributed
