The position is also responsible for collaborating with partner teams, enterprise architecture and development teams on best practices, guidelines and standards as well as evangelizing Technology transformation initiatives. This position is responsible for providing expertise and direction to Leadership when discussing strategic projects, design and application initiatives as well as providing high level estimates for the purpose of business case creation.\n Performs complex systems analysis and solution design on software applications \nPerforms coordination, creation and socialization of the conceptual approach document for new business initiatives \nCollaborates with the enterprise architecture and development teams to assure strategy alignment and utilize common components where applicable within the application. \nActs as an expert technical mentor to other members of the development teams and business users. \nUnderstands normal business constraints (resources, budget, and legacy technology) and actively develop creative solutions within this framework to address these limitations. \nParticipates and leads in code reviews to identify errors in the development phase that will lessen product vulnerabilities as well as improve the quality of the software. \nAssists with deep technical problem determination during system outage events and work with operational team to quickly evaluate and implement resolution paths. \n7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n8+ years of technical/functional design experience related to application implementation and software development.\n5+years of experience with software design/development resulting in strong knowledge of application frameworks.\nExpert level technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation.\nExperience designing and supporting enterprise platform solutions, including platform architecture, deployment, operations, automation, and lifecycle management.\nExperience architecting and integrating enterprise applications using APIs, service-oriented architectures, and shared platform services.\nExperience with content management and document management platforms; experience with Alfresco or similar enterprise content management solutions preferred.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure technologies, cloud architecture, networking, and platform services.\nDemonstrated ability to lead solution design from architecture and technical design through implementation, deployment, and operational support.\nExperience developing architectural standards, solution roadmaps, deployment topologies, and enterprise platform strategies.\nAbility to balance deep technical expertise with a broad platform-oriented mindset across multiple business domains and technology platforms.\nExperience collaborating with application development, platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.\nUnderstanding of platform adoption, onboarding, change management, and strategies that enable successful consumption of enterprise services and platforms.\nExperience with DevOps practices, cloud operations, and modern application delivery models.\n Familiarity with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and services, and the ability to evaluate their application within enterprise technology environments.\nExpert level knowledge in Object Oriented Design.\nExperience with Agile Development and working with offshore teams.\nExceptional communication skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent documentation skills including conceptual, logical, and physical diagrams.\n5+ years of experience in the Dental Insurance/Healthcare industry.\nBase Pay Information\nThe national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications.
