The incumbent will use industry best practices and work collaboratively with cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation team and DevOps engineers.\n Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce Data 360 solutions using data streams, data spaces, identity resolution rules, and calculated insights.\nDesign, develop, and deploy Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions using AMP Script, Journey Builder and Contact Builder.\nApply strong engineering judgment to select the appropriate no-code, low-code, or pro-code solution to meet functional, performance, and scalability requirements. \nLeverage Agentforce to implement AI-assisted workflows and intelligent automation.\nDesign, integrate, and operationalize AI-powered features by working with large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI and Anthropic models (e.g., Opus, Sonnet), to enable conversational interfaces, automation, summarization, and decision-support use cases.\nCollaborate with architects and platform teams to integrate AI services securely and responsibly within Salesforce applications.\nDesign and build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.\nEnforce best practices for security, data access, sharing, performance, and scalability.\nParticipate in solution design discussions, peer code reviews, and release management.\nCollaborate with product, business, and architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nMentor junior engineers and promote best practices in Salesforce development and platform governance.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps processes.\n BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field. \n4+ years of experience with specialization in Salesforce development and hands-on implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 and Marketing Cloud.\nDeep understanding of the Customer 360 Data Model, data streams, data spaces, identity resolution rules, and calculated insights.\nStrong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and segmentation within Data Cloud.\nExperience with Salesforce core development tools (Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flows, and REST/SOAP APIs).\nProven experience integrating Salesforce with external data sources, cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS S3), and ETL/ELT tools\nMastery of SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Email Studio, MobileStudio, and Contact Builder.\nProficiency in AMPScript, SSJS, SQL, HTML, and CSS for dynamic content development.\nExperience with SFMC integrations (API integrations, custom data extensions, and external event triggers).\nExperience with any Salesforce Industry Clouds, Salesforce Health Cloud experience is highly preferred.\nexperience with Salesforce Partner Portals / Experience Cloud is highly preferred \nExperience with Agent force is highly preferred\nSolid understanding of Salesforce security model, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and data modeling\nExperience designing and consuming APIs and enterprise integrations\nSalesforce Certifications (Required): Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant\n\nSalesforce Certifications (Nice to have): Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer\nSalesforce Platform Developer I/II\n\nAbility to identify key issues and details, and present understandable alternatives to both technical and non-technical individuals \nAbility to understand business plans and apply that information into the development of an IT business case\nAnticipates problems, resistance or likely objections and takes action to resolve them\nAbility to guide, train and mentor associate engineers\nHighly skilled in developing quantitative cost/benefit analysis to measure improvements\nProficient in organizational processes as well as capable of assessing and initiating change of such processes\nDemonstrates an in-depth knowledge and application of competency and can consult as well as lead others in its application\nStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills\nKnowledge of agile development methodologies\nAbility to develop and maintain key vendor relationships with a focus on technology currency and best practices\nLife-long learner, process improver \nAbility to understand an existing business process and collaboratively develop a more efficient and automated workflow\nBase Pay Information\nThe national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires.
