This position supports executive reporting, carrier management, vendor performance measurement, transportation optimization, and cost-saving initiatives through data analysis and reporting.\nThe successful candidate will be highly analytical, possess advanced Excel and BI tool capabilities, and have the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities within large logistics datasets.\nThe role will also require strong communication and collaboration with key business partners and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Planning, Production, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.\nResponsibilities\nReporting & Analytics\nConsolidate and analyze logistics data from ERP systems, transportation providers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.\nBuild recurring KPI dashboards and executive scorecards.\nDevelop transportation, carrier, vendor, and lane performance reporting.\nPerform root-cause analysis on operational exceptions.\nCreate ad hoc analyses supporting strategic decisions.\nTransportation Analytics\nAnalyze: \nFreight spend\nTransit times\nCarrier performance\nVendor performance\nMode optimization\nDrayage and transload costs\nMeasure on-time delivery performance and identify service failures.\nDevelop lane and provider scorecards.\nData Quality & Governance\nValidate shipment data accuracy across systems.\nReconcile discrepancies between provider and ERP data.\nMaintain reporting standards and data integrity.\nAudit operational reports and identify missing or inconsistent information.\nBusiness Intelligence\nBuild dashboards using: \nExcel\nPower BI\nTableau (preferred)\nAutomate manual reporting processes.\nCreate executive-ready visualizations for leadership reviews.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify process improvement opportunities through data analysis.\nSupport logistics cost reduction initiatives.\nAssist with implementation of transportation and supply chain technologies.\nSupport quarterly business reviews with logistics providers.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum 2 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain analytics experience.\nAdvanced Excel skills:\nPivot Tables\nPower Query\nXLOOKUP\nData Modeling\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate findings to both operational teams and leadership.\nPreferred\nPower BI experience.\nTableau experience.\nSQL knowledge.\nExperience with freight, transportation, or supply chain datasets.\nExposure to Infor Nexus, SAP, OMS, or transportation management systems.\nKey Performance Indicators\nReporting accuracy\nDashboard adoption\nFreight cost savings identified\nTransit time reduction opportunities identified\nVendor performance reporting completion\nExecutive dashboard delivery timeliness\nData integrity and audit accuracy\nThis is a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.\nPAY RATE: $80,000/yr-$90,000/yr\nAt Delta Galil, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent.
