In addition, it sells its products under brand names licensed to the company, including adidas, Wolford, Wilson, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger and others.\nRole Overview\nThe Product Development Manager, Men's Walmart will lead the end-to-end product development process for Delta Galil's Men's Walmart business. This individual will partner closely with Design, Merchandising, Sales, Sourcing, Technical Design, Planning, and overseas manufacturing teams to drive product innovation, commercialization, cost optimization, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong Walmart experience, a deep understanding of apparel development and sourcing, and the ability to manage multiple high-volume programs in a fast-paced retail environment.\nResponsibilities\nLead the product development lifecycle for the Men's Walmart business from concept through commercialization and production handoff.\nPartner with Design, Merchandising, and Sales teams to translate customer needs, market trends, and Walmart strategies into commercially viable products.\nDrive product development calendars and critical path management to ensure all milestones are achieved on time.\nCollaborate with sourcing teams and overseas factories to develop products that meet target costs, quality standards, and margin objectives.\nManage product costing, value engineering, and cost negotiations to support business profitability goals.\nEvaluate fabric, trim, construction, and packaging options to optimize product performance, quality, and cost.\nOversee sample development, including proto, fit, salesperson, pre-production, and production samples.\nPartner closely with Technical Design and Quality teams to ensure products meet fit, performance, testing, and compliance requirements.\nReview and manage WIP reports, proactively identifying and resolving development, sourcing, or production risks.\nLead communication with overseas factories and sourcing offices to ensure alignment on development timelines, approvals, and production readiness.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on speed-to-market, process efficiency, and product innovation.\nSupport Walmart line reviews, seasonal product launches, replenishment programs, and customer presentations as needed.\nMonitor market trends, competitive products, and Walmart category opportunities to identify product innovation and growth opportunities.\nMentor and develop Product Development Associates and Coordinators as the team expands.\nPartner with Logistics, Planning, and Customer Operations teams to support successful product launches and delivery execution.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, Textile Science, Business, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of apparel product development experience, preferably within men's apparel, underwear, basics, activewear, socks, or sleepwear.\nExperience supporting Walmart or other major mass retailers required.\nStrong knowledge of apparel development, sourcing, costing, manufacturing, and commercialization processes.\nProven experience working directly with overseas factories and global sourcing teams.\nAbility to manage multiple product categories and high-volume programs simultaneously.\nStrong understanding of costing, margin management, and value engineering.\nExperience managing WIP reports, critical path calendars, and production timelines.\nFamiliarity with Walmart systems, including Retail Link, SupplierOne, and NOVA, preferred.\nExperience with PLM systems and Microsoft Excel required.\nExcellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.\nIdeal Background\nExperience developing apparel products for Walmart’s Private brands\nBackground in underwear, basics, activewear, socks, sleepwear, or adjacent apparel categories.\nExperience managing replenishment businesses and large seasonal programs.\nStrong sourcing and factory management experience across Asia and other global manufacturing regions.\nProven ability to balance innovation, speed-to-market, quality, and cost in a high-volume retail environment.\nThis a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.\nPAY RATE: $95,000/yr-$115,000/yr\nAt Delta Galil, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent.
