Candidates must be based in the UK as we are unable to support remote working from outside the country due to local employment and tax legislation. \nDeltatre's Content Operations function runs the live and on-demand (VOD) content operations behind sports and entertainment platforms used by millions of people worldwide. Working in a 24/7 environment, the team handles the full content lifecycle - ingestion, enrichment, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring - and works closely with content owners, broadcasters, and federations.\nAs Junior Content & Design Operations Coordinator, you will join the team at the start of your career and take on day-to-day content operations work, with a particular focus on the visual side of our platforms: the hero images, thumbnails, and promotional graphics that shape how viewers find and experience content. You'll report to the Content Operations Lead, learn the full content lifecycle from the people who run it, and take on more responsibility as your experience grows. This is a full-time role within a 24/7 operational team.\nResponsibilities\nVisual assets and content presentation\nProduce visual assets (hero images, thumbnails, promotional graphics) that follow platform guidelines and client brand requirements\nAdapt assets across formats, aspect ratios, and devices, and check they display correctly on the front end\nHelp maintain asset templates and libraries so the team can work faster and more consistently\nContribute visual elements to the branded proof-of-concept environments the team builds for client conversations\nMetadata, editorial, and publishing\nPrepare and enter metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, geo-restrictions) to the team's quality standards\nSupport publishing workflows, including playlist creation and ordering, with guidance from senior team members\nDraft supporting editorial copy such as match descriptions and highlight summaries, keeping it clear, consistent, and neutral\nVOD operations\nSupport VOD processing across ingestion, metadata enrichment, and publishing\nQuality checks and documentation\nRun regular audit checks on playback, metadata accuracy, and front-end presentation\nRecord content, issues, and fixes in the team's documentation so others can pick up where you left off\nSuggest improvements to tools, templates, and workflows when you notice the same issue coming up repeatedly\nRequisiti\nThis is an entry-level role, so we don't expect previous experience in content operations - the workflows and systems you'll learn here. What we do need to see is design work you've produced and can talk through: the brief, the choices you made, and what you'd do differently now.\nRequired\nA degree (completed, or due to be completed before your start date) in graphic design, visual communication, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent practical design experience\nA portfolio or examples of design work you have produced - university projects, internships, freelance, and personal work all count\nWorking proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or comparable design tools (for example Illustrator, Figma, or Affinity)\nUnderstanding of how visual assets need to adapt to different formats, screen sizes, and brand guidelines\nAccuracy in repetitive, high-volume work such as metadata entry and bulk image creation - you check your own output before handing it on\nAbility to deliver to fixed deadlines, including time-critical work around live events\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, simple formulas)\nClear written communication, including short status updates and issue reports\nFluent written and spoken English (the working language across the group)\nAvailability to work shifts within a 24/7 operational rhythm, including evenings and weekends as needed\nValued\nInternship, placement, or part-time experience in media, publishing, digital content, or broadcast\nExperience with a content management system (CMS)\nBasic motion graphics or video editing skills (for example After Effects or Premiere Pro)\nFamiliarity with UX principles or how content is presented on web, mobile, and TV apps\nKnowledge of sport and entertainment content, useful for editorial judgement\nWho Thrives Here\nContent operations at Deltatre sits at the intersection of live event tempo, system complexity, and editorial judgement. In this role, the visible output is content and assets published on time and looking right on every device; the less visible part is the routine checking, documenting, and flagging that keeps the operation reliable. You'll learn most of the technical workflow on the job, from people who run it every day.\nPeople who do well here ask questions early rather than guessing, report a problem as soon as they see it, and treat feedback on their work as part of the process. They're as comfortable producing fast, consistent assets to a guideline as they are working on more creative pieces, and they notice when a workflow could be simpler.
