You will help shape the Android side of the platform, contribute to architectural decisions, and coordinate Android engineers across regions.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop new user-facing features for Android using Kotlin and Java\nBuild reusable components and libraries for future use across the platform\nTranslate designs and wireframes into high-quality production code\nOptimize components for performance across mobiles, tablets, and connected TVs\nAnalyze and simplify complex requirements to ensure efficient implementation; flag potential technical\nchallenges to stakeholders early\nCoordinate the work of Android engineers across regions and contribute to engineering standards and\nbest practice\nRequisiti\nYou produce work that others can build on. You take ownership of features from design to production, and you write code that holds up under real-world device and performance variability. You are credible on architectural decisions because you have made them before and seen them play out.\nRequired\n5+ years’ relevant engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years at Senior Android Engineer\nlevel\nDeep proficiency in Kotlin, with working command of Java\nFamiliarity with Jetpack Compose\nThorough understanding of the Android SDK and system framework APIs\nExperience with reactive programming using RxJava and its core principles\nDemonstrated unit-testing practice with JUnit and Mockito\nSolid grasp of mobile architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, delegation, and similar)\nFamiliarity with Google Play Services, Play Store account administration, and submission\nKnowledge of mobile debugging and optimization techniques\nComfortable with Git, build automation, and modern CI/CD practice\nFluent written and spoken English\nExperience working with a global team or employer\nValued\nExperience with video playback in mobile or web applications; familiarity with video production, audio/video encoding, and transmuxing\nExperience creating frameworks or libraries embedded in other apps\nBasic knowledge of iOS or web programming platforms - useful for cross-platform context\nProcess and what to expect\nIntroductory conversation: this is a step for us to get to know each other better, and for us to answer all questions you might have around Deltatre.\nTake-Home Assessment: we have a coding challenge waiting for you, to grab a sense of what you'll be dealing with.
